So I've decided to write myself a website as a place for me to write some form of blog with articles/tutorials about certain types of development things.
I had initially built a blog with Jekyll and deployed it with GitHub Pages, because it's a free way of deploying a static website. But after reading more about it, I soon changed to start building it with the Ghost platform.
The blog is built using the Ghost framework, and deployed with Heroku. I have customised the Casper theme by adding Sass styling as well. I'm also using Disqus as a great way of allowing visitors to add comments to some of the articles that I'll post.
Not quite sure where I'm going to go with it yet, but it seems to be good practice of creating a front-end project.
I guess the plan is to write up some tutorials for some web technologies I have been using recently as a personal reference point, and to hopefully help out anyone else learning web development. I'm hoping to get an article out every single Sunday, so for now let's see how it goes.
